London’s Natural History
Museum Ice Rink opens this month, as it returns for the
2019 festive season. Set against the beautiful backdrop of one of London’s most
iconic landmarks, skaters can take to the ice from Saturday 19 October 2019,
throughout the winter period until Sunday 12 January 2020. This year,
the Natural History Museum Ice Rink opens earlier than ever before, with 2019
dates including the October half-term break. Tickets are on sale NOW at www.nhmskating.com.
A perfect festive day out in a simply stunning setting, the Natural
History Museum Ice Rink welcomes all ages and abilities, with over 200,000 people
from all over the world donning their skates and getting on the ice last year
alone. This year the sparkling rink, located along South Kensington’s twinkling
tree-lined streets will be topped off with a spectacular 30ft Christmas tree.
The Café Bar will be
open again for all sorts of delicious seasonal treats and the perfect place to
warm up out of the winter chill. Visitors to the Café Bar can watch the skating
from a perfectly-positioned balcony
terrace with plenty of space for
seating and standing. Open daily, the Café Bar offers a wintery
sanctuary to unwind after a skate around the rink.
This year for the very first time, the Natural History Museum Ice
Rink will be open during the October half-term break, promising a
wonderful day out for all the family.
Plus, Acoustic Lates Presented by Ticketmaster at the Natural
History Museum will be making a welcome return, to present a series of free
and intimate acoustic performances in the Café Bar. The series runs every
Thursday from 31 October through to 19 December and features some of the best
new and emerging musical talent currently in the UK.
