Wellcome Collection - Dying Under Your Eyes, a new film by Oreet Ashery | Now open as part of Misbehaving Bodies

A new film by Oreet Ashery
Now showing as part of our exhibition, Misbehaving Bodies
Until 26 Jan 2019 | Free

Oreet Ashery's new artwork, Dying Under Your Eyes, offers a tender family portrait of end-of-life care. By turning the camera on her parents, Ashery - as a daughter and as an artist - subtly rewrites the family album and offers a frank portrayal of ageing, dying and mourning. This work was commissioned by Wellcome for Misbehaving Bodies.

To celebrate the unveiling of this new work, we are hosting a series of events to debate and explore the themes of illness, grief, healing and death.
