Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

Once doors have closed to the public on selected days in November and December, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will welcome Groupon members for an exclusive event. Available for entry from 3.00 p.m, guests will be granted after-hours access to the Studio Tour which showcases authentic sets, props and costumes from the Harry Potter™ film series.
Guests can walk the flagstones of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall which will be transformed for the Yule Ball. As seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, the celebration of the Triwizard Tournament saw every detail of the Great Hall covered in shimmering silver, dripping icicles and sparkling snow. Groupon Members will get a taster of this incredible set dress as the top section of the Great Hall will be transformed with snow-covered Christmas trees, icicles and an orchestra of magical instruments.
In addition to the Yule Ball decoration, The Great Hall will be lined with Christmas trees and the long dining tables of the Great Hall will be dressed as they were for seasonal feasts at Hogwarts with prop versions of roast turkeys, hams studded with cherries and even Christmas puddings surrounded by real flames.
As part of the Hogwarts in the Snow feature, many of the iconic sets housed at the Studio Tour will receive a festive makeover. The Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory will be decorated with their original festive props and the Hogwarts castle model will be transformed with a layer of filmmaking snow.
While exploring the attraction, guests will also be able to enjoy experiences that have been specifically added for Groupon members like enjoying a special demonstration courtesy of John Richardson, Special Effects Supervisor from the Harry Potter film series. They’ll get the chance to learn wand moves and can ‘fly’ a broomstick like a member of the cast in the Studio Tour’s green screen experience.
Groupon members will also enter the set of Gringotts Wizarding Bank as part of the Studio Tour’s biggest expansion to date that opened earlier this year. Once through the banking hall of Gringotts, Groupon members will enter the depths of the Lestrange vault used to store the treasures of Bellatrix Lestrange including the Sword of Gryffindor™ and Helga Hufflepuff’s™ Cup, one of Lord Voldemort’s™ horcruxes. Here, Groupon members can try out a photo opportunity allowing them to surround themselves with treasure.
During a short break in the attraction’s Backlot Café or Food Hall Café, guests will be able to enjoy a selected hot meal; a glass of wine, beer, hot or soft drink; and a Butterbeer™. They’ll also get the chance to come face-to-face with Death Eaters™ as they patrol the Studio Tour. All guests will receive a complimentary Studio Tour souvenir guidebook on arrival and the Studio Tour will stay open until midnight on these special nights.
On-site parking is available, as is a return shuttle bus from Watford Junction station if required
