This year, in the absence of the usual mass gatherings, the simple pleasures to be found in buying, preparing and sharing food are likely to be felt even more intensely than usual. And there really is nowhere better to start the process than at Borough Market, a place unmatched in the quality and diversity of its seasonal produce. To make your Christmas shopping as convenient and pleasurable as possible, were staying open until 9pm on Thursday and Friday, this week and next week. Last call - cook along with Olia Hercules, using the finest Borough Market produce

Among the many trader demos, interviews and cookalongs in the Borough Market Festive Kitchen this week, the wonderful Olia Hercules will be joining this week’s host Bettina Campolucci Bordi on Wednesday at 6:30pm to rustle up a plate of varenyky dumplings – a Ukrainian Christmas speciality – filled with kraut, mushrooms and chestnuts. For the ultimate combination of convenience and quality, there’s still time to order a Borough Market recipe produce box containing everything you need to join in (plus a little more), sourced directly from our traders. If you live in London, order by 1pm on Wednesday and we'll deliver it direct to your door.
