Zero-waste pioneer restaurant Silo launches trend-leading soft-pairing drinks menu with Seedlip alcohol-free spirits

 


With fresh industry insights tipping alcohol-free pairing menus as a key trend for 2022, Seedlip & Silo’s food & drink pairings reflect the changing landscape of No and Low drinking

January 2022: Seedlip, the passionate drinks innovator, is the non-alcoholic spirit of choice for the revolutionary zero-waste London restaurant Silo’s take on one of this year’s top drinks trends: soft-pairings, matching alcohol-free drinks with restaurant tasting menus.

 

With the two brands aligning on a commitment to supporting the natural world and being catalysts for positive change, the menu is a delicious and forward-thinking innovation in both alcohol-free as well as the future of sustainable hospitality. New research from Seedlip’s Future of No and Low report shows that the future of imbibing in restaurants is soft pairing: an inclusive step to make sure every diner has an equally elevated experience.

The new offering introduces the four non-alcoholic serves paired with Silo’s tasting menu, each showcasing Seedlip’s complex and satisfying flavours. The pairings have all been cleverly innovated by the Silo team in line with their zero-waste, closed-loop system - meaning no waste is generated, demonstrating maximum respect for the environment - and are they’re served with the same care as wine in a chilled glass with no ice or garnish.

 

Ben Branson, Seedlip Founder, explains: “I created Seedlip to celebrate the wonders of what nature can provide, working with its ingredients to provide delicious non-alcoholic options.”

 

Stephen Muttley, Bar Manager at Silo, says, “Having worked with Seedlip in previous venues for many years, I’ve found that the flavour profiles of the three expressions of Seedlip (Spice 94, Garden 108 & Grove 42) are excellent to create flavourful non-alcoholic cocktails. Each expression has a lot to say for itself, and offers a punchy base and depth of flavour to make really quality, sophisticated drinks.”

      Cloning Orange Wine

One for oenophiles, with Seedlip Grove 42 and fennel kombucha for complex flavour and textures of liquid gold

 

      Fruity Cola Cubism

Made with Seedlip Spice 94 to set off aromatic fireworks!
