Breaking news near you More than 30 UK public libraries are launching displays this month exploring 500 years of news, inspired by our upcoming Breaking the News exhibition. Drawing on their own fascinating collections, we’re working with our nationwide network of libraries to dig deeper into the era-defining local stories that became headline news. How you’re helping to make a difference Over the last two years our homes have regularly been transformed into classrooms, leaving some young people with limited access to learning resources. With support from donors, we distributed free activity books to help over 50,000 children take a learning adventure from their living room. This is just one of the ways support from individuals and organisations helped us inspire people all over the UK last year.
