Did you know?
There are so many tales of inspirational women of Marylebone past, and Mary Seacole is one. She was a British-Jamaican nurse who funded her own trip to support soldiers in the Crimean War in the 1850s. She later lived in Marylebone and you can see a plaque on George Street.
