Weekend travel information

If you are out and about this weekend, please note that there are planned closures taking place on certain parts of the network.

We strongly encourage customers to wear face coverings on our services and stations, unless exempt, even though it is no longer a requirement to do so.

This follows the Government's decision to lift coronavirus restrictions and the decreasing infection rates in London. Wearing a face covering will help to drive down transmission of coronavirus and to keep each other as safe as possible.

The information in this email could possibly change, so please check before you travel or use the TfL Go app to plan your journey.

National Rail

No Southern rail or Gatwick Express services from Victoria

During Network Rail re-signalling work there will be no Southern rail or Gatwick Express services to/from Victoria on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March.

For East Croydon and stations between Gatwick Airport and Brighton, use Thameslink services from Blackfriars. Use Southern rail services from London Bridge for other destinations.

Thameslink and Southern tickets will be accepted on the Tube between Victoria and Blackfriars/London Bridge/Balham. There is no Northern line service through London Bridge until mid-May, so please use alternative Tube, rail or local bus services.

For local journeys a replacement bus service will be running. Southeastern services will be operating from Victoria as usual. Visit the National Rail website to plan your journey.

London Underground
