You’re invited to be part of celeb art 📸

Get involved with Art of London and Ray Burmiston’s celebrity photography exhibition – all in support of mental health

Celebrated photographer Ray Burmiston has come together with cultural initiative Art of London in a collaboration for a great cause. Running throughout March until early April, ‘Take A Moment’ will feature on Europe’s largest advertising display (a huge 760 sq m that is!), in London’s West End. The portraits will feature on the display in numerous whole screen takeovers, and there’s also a pop-up exhibition just under the Piccadilly Lights (48 Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, W1J 0DT) that’s open daily from 11am to 7pm, too.

This impressive showcase features a long list of familiar faces, photographed with their eyes closed, shining a light on the importance of mental health awareness. Featured stars include David Walliams, Stephen Fry, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Kate Moss and many more.

In early April, the exhibition will come to a close with a ten-minute showcase video featuring over 100 celebrity portraits and selfies from members of the public (that could be you!). Other businesses in the West End district, such as The Burlington Arcade are also featuring photography from the exhibition and encouraging members of the public to “Take A Moment” for themselves.

To get involved in ‘Art of London Presents Take a Moment 2022’, close your eyes, pause, and take a moment. Capture this as a selfie, and share your moment of reflection, tagging @PiccadillyLights on Instagram and using the hashtag #TakeAMoment2022. You can also visit the Art of London website or @theartofldn on Instagram for more info.
