Kylie Minogue played the Neighbours theme tune at BST

Kylie Minogue went back to her roots as she dropped the Neighbours theme tune into the set of her latest gig. She headlined British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park and had mentioned keeping the local neighbours happy.

Referring to a curfew on performers, she began an impromptu chorus of "everybody needs good neighbours".
The singer famously began her career as Charlene Robinson in the Australian soap back in the 1980s.
Her Neighbours excerpt came in the middle of a hit-filled set list.

She powered her way through the likes of Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Spinning Around, In Your Eyes and All The Lovers.
In fact, there was only one song off her most recent album, 2014's Kiss Me Once.
Instead she included early material such as I Should Be So Lucky, Locomotion and Better The Devil You Know.
Earlier in the day, Kylie was spotted on the side of the main stage watching Years & Years.
The band, crowned the BBC's Sound Of 2015, were second on the afternoon's bill and did a 45-minute set that included Shine, Desire and number one single King.

Speaking to Newsbeat before the gig, synth player Emre Turkmen said: "I just realised we're playing at Hyde Park. I saw Blur a couple of years ago for their comeback and it's crazy that we're here now."
When asked whether he was a fan of the headline act, frontman Olly Alexander replied, almost indignantly: "Of course I'm a Kylie fan! She did tweet us once. I'm hoping we get to meet her."
The band's favourite three Kylie songs?
"Slow," said Olly. "Can't Get You Out Of My Head and Spinning Around."
Over the course of the day, Mika, Chic and Nile Rodgers and Grace Jones took to the Great Oak stage.
Chic's disco set list culminated in a stage invasion that included the likes of Cara Delevingne, The Edge from U2 and Sam Smith.
