The Jam: About the Young Idea

An intimate journey through The Jam's personal archive. This comprehensive exhibition examines the iconic band’s extraordinary career and the legacy they left on music, style, politics and culture. Through unseen material and fan memorabilia, the exhibition will chart the trio’s journey to superstardom with 18 consecutive UK top 40 singles and over 14 million global album sales during the late 70s and early 80s.

Beneath the Surface

An exhibition of some 200 photographs selected from a collection that dates back to 1852 and comprising unseen or rarely-displayed works from the Victoria & Albert Museum’s archive. Focussing on images of water, the topography of the city and the people within it, Beneath the Surface includes works by practitioners in the field, including Victor Prout, Thurston Hopkins and Brassaï.

Unseen Waterloo: The Conflict Revisited

An exhibition of photographs on the battlefield. Opening for the 200th anniversary of a landmark event in European history, the Battle of Waterloo, which was arguably the last great war before the invention of photography. This series of portraits by photographer Sam Faulkner explores how we remember the fallen from a time before photography was invented, with 80 life-size images.

The Inmoov Robots for Good Project

The Inmoov robot is a human-size 3D printed robot that uses virtual reality to allow children to safely explore the outside world. Watch the robot being printed and built before it moves to London Zoo, where it will act as an avatar for the children of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
