Join garden historian Margaret Willes for a fascinating talk about herbalist, botanist and radical apothecary Nicholas Culpeper followed by a chance to make your own historical remedies and natural cosmetics. Part of the Chelsea Fringe festival.

Night at the Museum: Spitalfields Music Summer Festival 2015 
Tuesday 9 June, 6.30 - 8.30pm. Tickets £16.   
Celebrating just over 300 years of history, Spitalfields Music present three musical reflections (including three new works by composers from the Royal Academy of Music) inspired by the museum's interiors. Supported by the Fenton Arts Trust.

Take part in special masterclasses in wood-turning and soft furnishings at Grandfest, a special day across East London celebrating older people and their skills.

Homes of the Homeless: Seeking Shelter in Victorian London
Until Sunday 12 July. Tickets £5/£3 concessions.   
Don't miss our current exhibition which tells the story of the places the poor in London inhabited, bringing them to life through paintings, photographs and personal stories, and join us for a talk with the exhibition curators on Friday 12 June at 1pm.
A complementary display, Home and Hope explores young people's experiences of homelessness today.

Twelfth Night with the Malachites Theatre Company

A rousing performance of Twelfth Night by Shoreditch's resident Shakespeare Company in the unique setting of the Geffrye's front gardens. Bring a blanket and picnic; food and drink will also be on sale in the gardens.
