Get back to nature this summer
Wildlife Garden at the Museum
Now that the summer is here get back to nature by exploring our flourishing Wildlife Garden. The garden is home to thousands of British flora and fauna. More than 3,130 species have been identified in the garden since it opened in 1995.

The Wildlife Garden is open daily from 1 April to 2 November, 10.00-17.00, with regular free family events.

Go on an underwater exploration of the Fishes, Amphibians & Reptiles, Mammals (blue whale model) and Marine Invertebrates galleries to see the variety of water-dwelling life.

Join Museum scientist Dr Ken Johnson as he reveals the intricate relationships that exist between corals and their marine inhabitants, and discover how we can use Museum collections to understand how corals have responded to climate change.
