The Big Feastival, proudly presented by NEFF, returns
to the Cotswolds this August Bank Holiday and as always, the jampacked line-up
does not disappoint. With music from the UK’s biggest artists, Michelin star
chefs live on stage, award-winning street food and an exciting programme of
family entertainment, The Big Feastival has something for everyone.
The Big Feastival will be kicking off
with a belter of a start thanks to none other than the platinum-selling Rudimental
and their Friday night DJ set. The party continues on
Saturday night with Grammy Award winner, Jess Glynne, taking centre
stage. The singer-songwriter made history becoming the first British female
solo artist to achieve seven No.1 singles in the UK when her hit I’ll Be There
hit top spot last summer. The festival
will come to an epic close on Sunday night with one of the most extraordinary
acts in British music, Elbow. Over twenty years and seven studio albums,
Elbow have achieved many of the accolades that mark out a successful band,
three Ivor Novello Awards, a Mercury Music Prize, a BRIT award for Best British
Band.
The weekend will also feature
singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi fresh from his breakthrough hit Someone
You Loved and indie-rock band The Zutons who shot to fame with the
original Valerie. Along with producer and DJ Jonas Blue, acoustic
singer Jack Savoretti, Jade Bird, Nina Nesbitt, Fun
Lovin’ Criminals, Grandmaster Flash, Sleeper, Dodgy, The
Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, DJ Luck & MC Neat, BBC
Music Introducing: Little Brother Eli, Barns Courtney, Four of
Diamonds and Duke, feastival veterans The Cuban Brothers will
also be adding their distinctive blend of music, comedy and dancing
entertainment.
The Big Feastival will also host an
incredible line up of Britain’s most respected chefs. Raymond Blanc OBE will be showcasing
the bold and innovative cooking, which has seen him retain his two Michelin
stars for an astounding 34 years. Although entirely self-taught himself,
Raymond has championed and nurtured some of the country’s most respected
chefs in his kitchens at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. Some 33 of these
protégés have gone on to win Michelin stars for themselves.
National treasure Prue Leith CBE will be sharing the culinary
wisdom that has seen the restaurateur and caterer become one of the UK’s most
renowned food personalities.
Also taking to the NEFF Big Kitchen
stage will be celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer known for his
original take on British Gastronomy Mark Hix; author of ‘Planted’ Chantelle
Nicholson and chef and author Robin Gill, as well as Gennaro Contaldo with his
signature Italian dishes; Daniel Clifford, from the two Michelin-starred
restaurant, Midsummer House, and James Lowe, who will be
showcasing the credentials that earned him a Michelin star within 18 months of
opening Lyle’s in London. Tom Brown, protégé of Nathan Outlaw and the chef behind the
incredible Cornerstone in Hackney, also joins the line-up, along with award
winning Peruvian restaurateur Martin Morales and broadcaster and chef
Andi Oliver. Supermodel-turned-Publican Jodie Kidd, winner of The
Great British Bake-Off Candice Brown, chef-turned model Isaac Carew,
The Fabulous Baker Brothers Tom and Henry Herbert, food blogger NEFF
ambassador Nicky Corbishley and grill legend DJ BBQ will also be cooking up a storm.
Host Alex James said: “This is
our eighth year and our best line up to date. Feastival continues to
expand, evolve and get better every summer and we’ve got more new tricks,
surprises and festival firsts up our sleeves for this August. There really is
something for everyone - plenty to keep the entire family smiling. See you on
August Bank Holiday weekend…"
Dedicated to festival fun for the
whole family, The Big Feastival will ensure kids are entertained from start to
finish. Little festival-goers can enjoy live entertainment from children’s TV
megastar Justin Fletcher, Paw Patrol’s Chase & Marshall and Peppa
Pig and George over the three-day extravaganza. Children of all ages can
try out Tree Climbing, visit Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park,
take part in workshops with the Royal Shakespeare Company, join the
Royal Albert Hall band, partake in the Village Green Games or take a
spin around the Vintage Fun Fair, amongst much more.
