British Museum Schools

Students taking part in activities at the Museum

In this e-newsletter, we are delighted to share our relaunched school session, Introduction to the Ancient Greek World, for SEN students. We also have a full line-up to share for our A Level Study Day about Women in the ancient world.

As the summer holidays draw closer, we want to say thank you for visiting us and supporting the Museum. Our autumn Museum sessions and Virtual Visits are open to book and we look forward to seeing new and returning schools in the autumn term.

SEN Introduction to the Ancient Greek World | Museum workshop

A friendly welcome from the team in the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre

“We are very excited to have relaunched our Introduction to the ancient Greek world workshop for SEN students. By combining object handling and digital technology, it’s a fun way for students to learn about this period. We have provided a visual timetable of the day’s activities, where your group will explore the museum’s ancient Greek galleries and use a green screen to create an image of themselves with ancient Greek sculpture. We’re happy to discuss the session before your visit, to make the day just right for your group.” - Samuel, Education Manager – Samsung Digital Discovery Centre
