As the weather heats up we're focusing on London's parks and gardens, and our exciting new Green Journey for families to discover in the Museum this summer.

From 23 July - 1 September, get hands-on in our new interactive Green Journey installation, and take part in family activities designed to help you think about climate change, imagine what a greener London could look like, and explore the role of transport in creating a sustainable city. Don't miss the workshops for 8-14 year-olds! It's all included with your Museum annual pass - and as always, kids go free.

Object of the Month
Acton station garden, 1922
Today, Acton is home to the Museum Depot, but back in 1922 this is what Acton Town Underground station would have looked like to travellers arriving on the westbound platform. Our Object of the Month is this photo showing a station staff member standing in their elaborate planned station garden, which won fourth prize in that year’s District Railway station gardens competition.
