Museum of Brands - πŸ‘¦πŸ‘ŸNEW Gender in Advertising and Fashion Trails πŸ’…πŸ‘  LAST CHANCE: Book your summer BBQ here 🌟

NEW: History of Makeup Pop-Up Display
1 - 31 August 2022

For one month only, visit our pop-up display and consider how makeup products have evolved throughout the last two centuries. The display will feature products that makeup artists and the general public have used over the years, both professionally and personally.

Did you know? In the 1970s the well-known British makeup brand, Mary Quant, developed a colouring box for men who wanted to enhance their natural features, or explore more fluid features.  Makeup for men is not a new concept around the world, but it has become far more widely accepted by mainstream society in recent decades.

"This little museum is a hive of nostalgia and we easily spent over an hour reminiscing, but there really was no rush. There is a little cafΓ© on site and a beautiful garden at the rear, which is a piece of tranquillity... You will get lost in your childhood memories."  Trip Advisor Review, July 2022

"Have wanted to go for years and finally got there. Loved it! There are so many things from different eras. A real treat for the eyes. I like the fact there aren't acres to read, just being able to browse and enjoy the artwork of the packets and labels.
