Highlights


This March, join a range of events coinciding with our new display from the National Museum of Women in the Arts and final weeks of the Guerrilla Girls. Don't miss our symposium investigating the position of women in the art world today (Sat 4 Mar), featuring a line-up of directors, curators and collectors.

Plus, Dhaka-based artist Nisar Hossain discusses traditional painter communities and contemporary art in Bangladesh (Thu 23 Mar) and Anthea Hamilton presents a new performance as an ode Eduardo Paolozzi's momentous BUNK! lecture, which kick-started British Pop Art in the 1950s (Thu 30 Mar).

Nisar Hossain

Artist Nisar Hossain discusses contemporary art in Bangladesh, focusing on ritualistic folk painting and the traditional painter communities in the country. Hossain is professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka. More

Collecting Art by Women
