Lambeth Country Show - Starts Today - Free Event - Brockwell Park

The Lambeth Country Show returns to Brockwell Park on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July, boasting a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside. Now in its 42nd year and organised by EventLambeth, the show has all the attractions of a traditional country fair plus much more. Horticultural shows, sheep dog & owl displays, home grown vegetable and flower competitions, numerous craft & food stalls and our very own on site farm will be there for all to enjoy. All this will be on offer and more with a distinctively urban south London vibe. Music always plays a big part to the show and this year will be no exception, featuring a mix of dub, afro-beat, disco, folk, ska and soul. Sunday will welcome back Roots Reggae Day to the Main Stage and our Village Green stage will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands. Entry will remain free in 2016, but we continue to rely on visitors making donations on entry and at designated donation points across the site.
