Summer Art Camps  Monday 25 July – Friday 29 July or  Monday 1 – Friday 5 August This summer, use your imagination to make the V&A Museum of Childhood come to life! In these artist-led Summer Camps you can create films, make giant toy cars and have messy fun creating your own Museum collection. Each camp lasts a maximum of 5 days and is jam-packed full of performance, creativity and fun from start to finish. Camps are available for ages 5-10 and 8-11. Book today

Tales: Photography by Sonya Hurtado  Saturday 23 JulyFREE Hackney based photographer, Sonya Hurtado, explores the imaginary world of childhood. Set in the context of fairy tales and children’s stories, her images are conceived almost like paintings, full of colour and vibrancy. Animated! Summer Family Film Festival Wednesdays 27 July, 3, 10, 24 & 31 August10.00 Activities, 11.00 Screening Inspired by the Clangers, Bagpuss & Co exhibition, the Museum will present a series of innovative animated films, from the world’s oldest surviving animated feature film, The Adventures of Prince Achmed (1926) to Frances’s visual masterpiece Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998) and family favourites like Wallace and Gromit. Take part in a craft activity and pick up a trail related to the films for a full experience, or just grab your popcorn from the café, sit back and enjoy the movie!  See what's on AROUND LONDON:
