Join us for a month of family fun. Enjoy our Family Trail, taking you through the Museum’s Time Tunnel to discover, or rediscover, favourite toys, games and sweets from your past. Children under 7 years enter for FREE. Relax in our Café garden or get creative with your children in craft workshops on Sunday 31 July, Sunday 7, 14, 21 August. Time Travelling Family Activity
 
Design your own Time Travelling hat, inspired by Galaxy, Mars and Milkyway. Using spacey materials, you can add gadgets and buttons to help make your hat ultra magic. The Attraction of Opposites

We are exhibiting 3 key dresses from fashion designer Kumiko Tani's Re-cycle Style Collection in our Branding Hall this summer. The dresses are made out of thousands of chocolate wrappers, delicately hand sewn together. We met with Kumiko to find out more about what inspires her work and how the dresses were made.

Storytelling for Children

Chloe Harbour presents a Time Travel themed story telling session in the Museum of Brands Time Tunnel on 7 August at 10.30am and 2.30pm. Join Chloe as she whisks us on an adventure with three special time travelling cats. Expect a lot of giggles, ‘nose wiggles’ and imagination with this interactive experience around the Museum. Ideal for families with children.

The Everlasting Gobstopper

This family workshop is inspired by the sweets and confectionery on display in our Museum. On Sunday 14 August you are invited to use our materials to create your own weird and wonderful brand of sweets. You can drop in any time between 11am to 4pm.
