More than just an outdoor cinema in a beautiful setting, make sure you don’t miss the full Film4 Summer Screen experience. This year opens with the UK Premiere of Things to Come and continues with thirteen nights of cult, contemporary and classic films. There will be special guests, handpicked DJs and a series of events which all offer a unique insight into the season.

Three UK Premieres
This year's season will see three UK premieres aired at Somerset House - Things To ComeJulietaand Captain Fantastic.

We are delighted to welcome back Pedro Almodóvar to introduce the UK premiere ofJulieta
“I am very happy to return to Somerset House. I have very fond memories of the open air summer cinemas of my childhood, so this is a wonderful setting for the UK premiere of Julieta.”

On-Stage Introductions
Stars from the films will join us on selected evenings to introduce the night's films.

Viggo MortensenGeorge Mackay and directorMatt Ross will introduce the UK premiere ofCaptain Fantastic on 17 August; Oscar-winning special-effects artist Andrew Whitehurst will introduce our Ex Machina/Robocoop double bill on Saturday 6 August, and Luc Roeg will be with us to present the classic film Walkabout on Tuesday 9 August.

Print Club London
Get the full Film4 Summer Screen experience
DJs will open each evening with tracks inspired by the films. Highlights include Radio 1's Clara Amfo(Girlhood) and Late Night Tales (Ex Machina / RoboCop).

Print Club London's Summer Screen Prints is open throughout featuring limited edition prints inspired by this year's films. Create your own free print on the night of a classic quote from that night's film.

Food and drink will be available from Fernandez & Wells and Tom’s Kitchen, who will be serving a special 'Cinemac & Cheese'.
