Thames Subterranean Leak Hole

Geologists have discovered a fissure that has been found to divert waters from the River Thames in London to a vast underground network of cracks and cavernous areas.

While in the main the loss of water has not been noticed recent activity in plate tectonics has significantly increased the loss to the point that the Thames barriers may actually be used in reverse to keep water in.

The Thames leaking away could have serious consequences for those services and business dependent on it for ongoing income.

The Mayor's office was unavailable for comment on its notice from Thames Water of Meterage bills running into millions.

A public information film will be shown urging a campaign on managing water - Every Little Drop Helps

London will be asked to save water in Baths, buckets, and any useful receptacle during high tide and asked to release these during low tide. It is critical that the river bed remains wet and not allowed to dry out, contributing to increased fissure exposure.
You as a city are all called upon to get behind this and save the Thames.

Daily News will let you know tide times with fill up windows and pull the plug times.
