BBC Audience - Join the BBC Concert Orchestra for a fun-filled family adventure

BBC Concert Orchestra Family Concert: Is This Jazz?
Sunday 12 November
Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall
12 noon - 1.15pm

This fun-filled family adventure uncovers jazz where you least expect it...

Jazz in film, jazz in the club, jazz in the concert hall and even jazz on the TV in your living room - together we'll journey around town, opening doors to find secret, sneaky jazz hiding all around us!

We have a real mix of music for you - TV theme tunes, Mambo and Summertime from Bernstein and Gershwin, film hits from Toy Story and La La Land, favourites from Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie and even some Shostakovich.

You'll be the first people to hear a brand-new piece by saxophonist and composer Trish Clowes, written just for you and this special concert. With something for everyone, you'll leave the concert knowing a lot more about jazz and hopefully craving more.

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival.

We welcome family members of all ages but we'd particularly recommend this concert for children aged 7+

£6 for ages 18 and under
£12 for over 18s
