Talk: Culture at the Speed of Twitter

The Museum of Brands gets digital with Paul McCrudden, Global Head of Live Marketing at Twitter. At this Museums at Night event, Paul will explore the relationship between Twitter and culture, showing how news, memes and personalities develop, and how Twitter’s brand story places the company at the heart of what’s happening. CAF Grant for Garden
The Museum is pleased to announce new funding from the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to support the maintenance of the Memorial Garden, that became a popular place of reflection in the days of the Lighthouse. This stunning garden represents the legacy of this iconic building as the UK’s first major centre for people with HIV/Aids. The garden is now used by museum and café visitors and local communities.
Coming up: Inspiring Minds - Film
The History of Advertising Trust’s (HAT) living history project, Inspiring Minds, opens at the Museum on Tuesday 26 June. The film features a series of interviews with some of advertising’s most influential figures from the Golden Age of British advertising, including Sir Alan Parker, Hugh Hudson and Jeremy Sinclair. They will talk about their work and provide a legacy for future generations. Read more
