Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
North London - From 08:00 until 18:00 on Saturday 7 April, three/four lanes will be closed on Hampstead Road (northbound) at the junction of Mornington Crescent. This is due to a crane operation.
Central London - From 08:00 on Saturday 7 April until 18:00 on Sunday 8 April, there will be three-way temporary traffic lights in operation and a banned right-turn from Southampton Row on to the south side of Russell Square. This is to facilitate Vodafone works.
Twickenham - From 11:00 until 18:00 on Saturday 7 April, roads in the area will be busier than usual, including A316 Chertsey Road, and all roads near Twickenham Station and Town Centre. London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road will be closed before and after the match. This is for an event.
Southall - From 09:30 until 18:00 on Sunday 8 April, there will be phased full road closures on the following roads: Havelock Road, Park Avenue, King Street, The Green, South Road, High Street, Uxbridge Road, and Green Drive. This is for a procession.
Central London - Northumberland Avenue (both directions) between Trafalgar Square and Whitehall Place will be closed eastbound on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 April, then westbound on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 April. This is due to roadworks.
