Christmas at Windsor: The Queen's decorations revealed

With just a month to go, Christmas preparations have begun at Windsor Castle.

Staff have been busy preparing the castle, with multiple rooms already decorated ready for the 25th of December.

The highlight of the Christmas display is the magnificent 20-foot-high tree in St George's Hall, taken from Windsor Park.

It is an honour of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who made this tradition popular.

Festive garlands cover the Grand Staircase, around the impressive suits of armour.
