Count down to 2022 with the ultimate New Year’s Eve house party at Somerset House with Moët & Chandon. For one night of unforgettable festive fun, artists, DJs and performers will host a festival-style takeover, bringing together the best in nightlife from London and beyond.


Partygoers will have the chance to experience and explore unexpected corners of Somerset House, with music from acclaimed DJs, pop-up live performances and surprise entertainment, plus delicious food, drink and much more at every turn. At the centre of the party, guests can skate the night away to their favourite party classics on our spectacular ice rink set within Somerset House’s magnificent courtyard, made picture-perfect with its glorious 40ft Christmas tree. As the clock approaches midnight, you're invited to gather in the courtyard for a surprise spectacle to welcome the New Year in style.

Courtyard

DJs Milk Shandy and Lexii will play sets in the courtyard


Lose yourself in the sounds of DJ and drag cabaret artist Milk Shandy of the legendary East London LGBTQ+ club Dalston Superstore with an unbeatable mix of pop bangers and crowd favourites, from Whitney to Carly Rae Jepsen, plus there's an eclectic and playful set from London DJ Lexii.

East Wing

Rory Phillips and The Long Blondes will DJ in the East Wing


The East Wing will be transformed into an epic indie disco, with floor-fillers worthy of a night at Trash, featuring Rory Phillips, darling of the noughties club scene, cult Sheffield band The Long Blondes with an exclusive DJ set, and Later Youth with a raucous piano singalong to much loved hits from The Strokes to Bowie.


West Wing


Rinse FM regulars Manara and Grainger, two favourites of underground club circuits across the world, will bring the house party vibes to the West Wing with back-to-back mixes of new and nostalgic sounds from Afrobeat and House to Hip-Hop.

Deadhouse

Karaoke Hole will create a one-off Karaoke Dungeon in the Deadhouse


You'll have the rare opportunity to venture into the Deadhouse, the atmospheric crypt which lies beneath Somerset House’s courtyard, re-imagined for NYE as the Karaoke Dungeon and hosted by London’s finest drag stars from Dalston Superstore’s Karaoke Hole.


Food & Drink


To keep you fuelled up throughout the evening, Somerset House has teamed up with Jonathan Nunn, acclaimed food writer of the cult publication Vittles, to present a special, one night only festive food pop-up. Located on Somerset House’s River Terrace with sweeping views over the Thames and the South Bank, curated stalls will offer a delicious selection from London's best unsung food heroes.


For those who prefer their refreshments a little less alfresco, London’s ‘pop-up King’ Jimmy Garcia’s cosy Alpine-inspired restaurant Chalet Barragiste is serving up a special New Year’s Eve set menu of warming winter classics, including vegan and vegetarian options. Pre-booking is essential.


Guests can toast the New Year with a glass of champagne or spiced-winter cocktail whilst soaking up views of the ice rink in comfort and style at the elegant Skate Lounge by Moët and ChandonChalet Barragiste and Somerset House’s resident cafe WatchHouse will also be on hand with refreshments.
