Victoria and Albert Museum - London Design Festival is coming soon

London Design Festival

London Design Festival is a city-wide festival that celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world.

As the Festival hub, the V&A will house a broad range of specially-commissioned installations and displays around the Museum by some of the world’s most exciting designers, as well as a huge programme of events including talks, tours and workshops.

A 21.3 meters long fluid sculpture of folded material. 

Presented by Alcantara®, Ross Lovegrove’s installation is an intuitive and evocative response to the V&A Tapestry Gallery.      
Reflection Room

An immersive coloured light experience that will be the first London Design Festival installation to be housed in the Prince Consort Gallery.

In partnership with Barrisol with further support from Tryka LED and Seam Design.
The British Land Celebration of Design Medal Exhibition
An exhibition showcasing the work of the 2017 Medal winners, and their outstanding contribution to London and the design industry.
While We Wait

This immersive installation about the cultural claim over nature in Palestine is made from elements of Palestinian stone, shaped by both innovative and traditional techniques.

A pair of sculptural works by Czech glassmaker Petr Stanický.

Displayed in light-filled vestibules adjacent to the V&A Glass and Ceramics galleries, these pieces explore the characteristics of our residence in non-uniform spaces.

Garden Ware: What is a Good Pot?

Acclaimed conceptual artist Bruce McLean debuts a new body of work titled ‘Garden Ware’ in collaboration with Stoke-on-Trent ceramics brand 1882 Ltd. in the V&A Ceramics Galleries.
