Join Hercules Editions for the launch of A Bargain with the Light, by the award-winning poet Jacqueline Saphra.

Kennington Bioscope presents Filibus (1915) Wed Sept 20th @ 7.30pm
Filibus, is an Italian crime drama directed by Mario Roncoroni, written by Giovanni Bertinetti and produced by the short-lived Turin-based production company Corona Film.
Filibus takes many of the themes popular in films and literature of the time, and adds a powerful female supervillain and her futuristic airship! Baroness Troixmonde (Cristina Ruspoli) leads a double life as the notorious burglar Filibus, a master of male and female disguises. Following her latest daring bank robbery, the famous Detective Hardy vows to track Filibus down. Attracted by the large cash reward for her capture, the Baroness decides to outwit the detective, while romancing his attractive sister, Leonora.  Find out more here

Blinking Buzzards, Sat October 14th 4pm - 7pm
The UK Buster Keaton Society. Quarterly meeting of the society dedicated to the appreciation of the silent comedian.
The last meeting of the year is a request session, so expect to see beloved gems chosen by Society members.
Entry free to members with £10 annual membership available at the door.
The Misty Moon International Film Festival, Sat October 28th @ 7pm
 
After last year’s fantastic film festival, Misty Moon is back with a whole new batch of short films and guest judges. The festival showcases the best selection of short films from upcoming and established filmmakers.
