Announcing the first two major flying acts for Duxford Air Festival 2019.
Back at IWM Duxford for the first time in 14 years, we are thrilled to announce the Breitling Jet Team as one of our first Duxford Air Festival acts!
Expect barrel rolls, loops and vertical splits. They'll fly at speeds of over 700km/h, and pass each other with only three metres to spare.
The Breitling Jet Team will fly seven L-39C Albatros high-performance jet trainers at Duxford Air Festival 2019.
The team are known the world over for their breathtaking, meticulously coordinated aerobatics. Their carefully choreographed routines will make jaws drop this May.
A firm favourite at Duxford Air Festival, we also welcome back the iconic RAF Chinook Display Team.
The Chinook helicopter flies with remarkable agility, while carrying up to ten tonnes in supplies - around the same weight as four Range Rovers.
As well as showing off the battlefield capabilities of the aircraft, the Chinook Display Team are all front-line pilots, crewmen and engineers who have recently returned from operational service.
Chinooks have been used by the Royal Air Force across the world. They are equally at home in the jungle, the Arctic, the desert and our airfield at IWM Duxford.
We cannot wait to welcome the Breitling Jets and the RAF Chinook Display Team back to Duxford Air Festival.
Limited early bird tickets are available for Duxford Air Shows. Book yours today and avoid missing out. |
