Introducing the St James's Art & Design Walk

Introducing the St James's Art & Design Walk

As autumn rolls in St James’s invites you to take a step inside. We’re partnering with Wallpaper* magazine to take you on a journey exploring the world-renowned contemporary galleries in the area.

This year’s tour features a selection of intimate, tucked away galleries, including Alan Cristea, David Gill, Thomas Dane, Stern Pissarro, Sims Reed and the White Cube. Learn about everything from Anni Albers’ pioneering wall hangings at Alan Cristea, to José Yaque’s ‘Kind of Blue’ collection at David Gill, exploring the origin of colour.

The walks will take place at 6.30pm on 17th, and at 11am and 12pm on the 20th of October, starting at Christie’s before traveling on. Click herefor details and here to add to your calendar.

From Inspiration to Enterprise

Creative entrepreneurs are at the heart St James’s. That’s why we are holding a breakfast at Esquire Townhouse with Breitling,‘From Inspiration to Enterprise: How to Turn Your Passion into a Business’. Join us to meet the brains behind three of St James’s one of a kind businesses:

Iré Hassan-Odukale is a co-founder of Ikoyi, the West-African restaurant nestled in St James’s Market. Last week, Ikoyi was the second restaurant in the area to be awarded a very well-deserved Michelin star.

Emma Willis, of the eponymous brand, started her business designing and making world-renowned men’s shirts and accessories; she still remains the only female bespoke shirtmaker in the UK.

Tom Broughton is the founder of British spectacle brand Cubitts on Jermyn Street; he’s spent the last 6 years skilfully carving his niche and bringing back the art of hand-making spectacles with a contemporary twist.

Book your tickets here and join us on the 12th of October from 8.30am - 10am. Use the code STJAMES10 for 10% off. Click here to add to your calendar.

St James’s are proud to welcome a unique shopping concept to the area. Showcase is a pioneer known globally as the secret source for true fashionistas, and its first permanent store has landed in St James’s.

The store on 12 Regent Street St James’s combines some of the world’s most coveted brands with The Next Big Thing, bringing you limited ranges from emerging, British-based designers. You’ll also find an elegant lounge area and all-day café serving coffee from The Lands End Coffee Company.
