Museum of London - What's on in November?

Keep the home fires burning
Sat 10 Nov
Museum of London

Join us as we mark 100 years of remembrance of the First World War at this free family day.

We will be exploring what life was like in London from 1914-1918; from the women who worked in factories to children’s contributions to the war effort. Meet a munitions worker, hear about a Zeppelin raid on London and much more at hands-on workshops, craft activities and storytelling sessions.

London is a diverse and global city, which is home to speakers of over 300 languages. These languages all help to tell the story of London's people, who we are and where we come from.

At this special festival weekend learn phrases from a new language, discover secret languages of the past and try your hand at British Sign Language. Plus, have a go at communicating in unexpected ways through song, spoken word, emojis and more.
