Museum of London - What's on in November?

Keep the home fires burning Sat 10 Nov Museum of London Join us as we mark 100 years of remembrance of the First World War at this free family day.  We will be exploring what life was like in London from 1914-1918; from the women who worked in factories to children’s contributions to the war effort. Meet a munitions worker, hear about a Zeppelin raid on London and much more at hands-on workshops, craft activities and storytelling sessions. PLAN YOUR VISIT > 

Family fun Last chance to get your Sailors and starlight family rave tickets Sat 17 Nov, 2-4.30pm Museum of London Docklands Set sail and let the stars guide you as we host another of our award-winning family raves.  Everyone from the smallest swashbuckler to the biggest buccaneer will enjoy our celestial celebration as they party to dance tunes including acid house, techno, drum ‘n’ bass and much more with Baker & Beale. Take part in multi-sensory dancefloor delights, experience live DJ, glitter cannons, giant balloons, bubble machines and the famous parachute dance. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged! BOOK TICKETS >  Come share your own story, in your own words at our fun family festival Sat 3 & Sun 4 Nov, 12-4pm Museum of London Docklands London is a diverse and global city, which is home to speakers of over 300 languages. These languages all help to tell the story of London's people, who we are and where we come from. At this special festival weekend learn phrases from a new language, discover secret languages of the past and try your hand at British Sign Language.
