Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 27 and 28 October, and the following week.
Most of the network will be open with services running as normal so you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

On Sunday 28 October, there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park before 09:30 and after 20:30. This is due to track replacement work. For travel between Baker Street and Wembley Park, use the Jubilee line. For travel between Baker Street and Aldgate, use the Circle line or Hammersmith & City line.

Network Rail is carrying out work that will affect the following services.

Today, Thursday 25 October, there will be no service between: |
| • | Romford and Upminster after 20:00. Use local bus routes 165, 248 or 370 for travel between stations |
| • | Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:30. Rail replacement buses will run |
|
On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October, there will be no service between: |
| • | Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush. Use local bus routes 220 or 228 |
| • | Hackney Downs and Enfield Town / Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters). Rail replacement buses will run between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town / Cheshunt. Use Tube or local bus services elsewhere |

On Sunday 28 October, there will be no service between: |
| • | Liverpool Street and Chingford until 09:45. Rail replacement buses will run between Hackney Downs and Chingford. Use Tube or local bus services elsewhere |
| • | Camden Road and Stratford after 22:00. Rail replacement buses will run, not serving Caledonian Road & Barnsbury. Use local bus route 274 for travel between Camden Road and Caledonian Road & Barnsbury |
| • | Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction after 22:00. Use local bus route 30 or rail replacement buses for travel between stations |

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Millbank - From 05:00 until 14:00 on Sunday 28 October, Millbank southbound between Lambeth Bridge and Thorney Street will be closed to facilitate a crane operation. The closure will continue every Sunday until 2 December.
Wembley - From 09:00 until 21:00 on Sunday 28 October, roads in the Wembley area will be busier than usual, including A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. High pedestrian numbers are also expected in the area. This is due to an NFL game with a 13:30 kick off.
Westminster - From 09:00 until 18:30 on Sunday 28 October, roads in the Westminster area will be disrupted in all directions, due to a march. A group will form up on Marble Arch and proceed to Paddington Green via Edgware Road northbound between 14:00 and 15:00.
Wembley - From 17:00 until 23:59 on Monday 29 October, roads in the Wembley area will be busier than usual, including A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. High pedestrian numbers are also expected in the area. This is due to a football match with a 20:00 kick off.
Knightsbridge - From 08:00 on Tuesday 30 October until 16:30 on Wednesday 5 November, two of the three lanes on Brompton Road eastbound, at the junction of Knightsbridge Green, will be closed. This is due to gas works.

Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:
Rotherhithe Tunnel - There are increased restrictions for goods vehicles at Rotherhithe Tunnel. The maximum vehicle height is 2 metres and the weight limit is 2 tonnes. The width restriction is 2 metres (or 6’6”). Drivers of goods vehicles should use Tower Bridge or Blackwall Tunnel, both of which are outside the Congestion Charging zone. A4 Ealing Road to Clayponds Avenue - From 22:00 Friday 27 until 05:00 Monday 29 October, a section of the A4 will be closed between Ealing Road and Clayponds Avenue. This is due to works being carried out by Highways England underneath the elevated section of the M4.
The works will be ongoing until 15 December 2018 and will involve a series of full and partial closures, including single lane closures during the day and full closures overnight, Monday to Friday. For more information on these, please visit our A4 works page.
Bishopsgate - Until 22:00 tomorrow, Friday 26 October, there will be a lane closure on A10 southbound between Threadneedle Street and Leadenhall Street. This is due to UKPN utility works.
Kidbrooke - Until 21:00 today, Thursday 25 October, Kidbrooke Park Road will be closed southbound between Old Post Office Lane and Tudway Road. This is due to a crane operation.
Canonbury - Until 18:00 on Sunday 4 November, Canonbury Road will be closed. This is while Cadent Gas carries out work to replace gas mains.
