Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 20 and 21 October, and the following week.
Most of the network will be open with services running as normal so you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October, there will be no service between Edgware Road and Hammersmith. This is due to line modernisation work. Please use other Tube lines or local buses. |

On Sunday 21 October, there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park until 09:30 and after 20:30. This is due to track replacement work. For travel between Baker Street and Wembley Park, use the Jubilee line. For travel between Baker Street and Aldgate, use the Circle line or Hammersmith & City line.

Network Rail is carrying out work that will affect the following services.
Today, Thursday 18 October, there will be no service between Romford and Upminster after 20:00. Use local bus routes 165, 248 or 370 for travel between stations.

On Sunday 21 October, there will be no service between: |
| • | Sydenham and Crystal Palace. For travel between stations, use local buses or replacement buses between Crystal Palace and Norwood Junction |
| • | Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction until 13:00. Rail replacement buses will run |
| • | South Tottenham and Barking until 12:30. Use local buses between South Tottenham and Walthamstow Queen’s Road, or the Victoria line between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Central. Rail replacement buses will run between Walthamstow Central and Barking |

From Monday 22 until Thursday 25 October, there will be no service between: |

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Bishopsgate - Until 22:00 on Friday 26 October, there will be a lane closure on A10 southbound between Threadneedle Street and Leadenhall Street. This is due to UKPN utility works.
Central London - From 19:00 on Friday 19 October until 15:00 on Sunday 21 October, the following bus routes will be diverted:
Route 2 towards Marylebone and N2 towards Hayes Place will be on diversion from Gloucester Place at the junction of Marylebone Road, via Marylebone Road and Balcombe Street before continuing on the line of route.
Routes 13 and N113 towards North Finchley, 113 towards Edgware Station and 274 towards Islington Angel will be on diversion from Gloucester Place at the junction of Marylebone Road, via Marylebone Road, Balcombe Street, Melcombe Place, Harewood Avenue and Rossmore Road before continuing on the line of route.
Routes 139 towards Golders Green and 189 towards Brent Cross will be on diversion from Gloucester Place at the junction of Marylebone Road, via Marylebone Road, Balcombe Street, Melcombe Place and Harewood Avenue before continuing on the line of route.
Kidbrooke - From 07:00 on Friday 19 until 21:00 on Monday 29 October, Kidbrooke Park Road will be closed southbound between Old Post Office Lane and Tudway Road. This is due to a crane operation.
Westminster - From 12:00 until 17:00 on Saturday 20 October, there will be a series of road closures between Park Lane southbound and Parliament Square via Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly, St James’s Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and their approaches. There will also be road closures between Leicester Square and Horse Guards Avenue via Coventry Street, Haymarket, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. This is due to marches.
Wembley Stadium - From 10:00 until 22:00 on Sunday 21 October, increased traffic levels and pedestrian numbers are expected in the Wembley area. Roads likely to be affected are the A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. This is due to an NFL match at Wembley Stadium.
Waterloo - From 08:00 until 16:00 on Sunday 21 and Sunday 28 October, Stamford Street will be closed on each Sunday in both directions between Waterloo Roundabout and Blackfriars Road. Bus routes 381 and RV1 will be diverted via Waterloo Road and Borough Road in both directions before returning to the line of route. This is due to a crane operation.
Canonbury - From 10:00 on Monday 22 October until 18:00 on Sunday 4 November, Canonbury Road will be closed. This is while Cadent Gas carries out work to replace gas mains. Bus route 271 will be on diversion.

Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:
Rotherhithe Tunnel - There are increased restrictions for goods vehicles at Rotherhithe Tunnel. The maximum vehicle height is 2 metres and the weight limit is 2 tonnes. The width restriction is 2 metres (or 6’6”). Drivers of goods vehicles should use Tower Bridge or Blackwall Tunnel, both of which are outside the Congestion Charging zone.
