Elgar at the Royal Albert Hall
Sonority abounds as Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra takes to the stage at Royal Albert Hall to pay tribute to Edward Elgar. The programme includes two parts of the Pomp and Circumstance Marches, perhaps the composer’s best known work, as well as three other compositions. The players are joined by conductor Christopher Warren-Green and cellist Guy Johnston. Audience members can stay refreshed with a glass of Pimm’s each.
