Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as they come to the Royal Festival Hall this June. Thomas Dausgaard conducts the orchestra, who are joined by pianist Natasha Paremski as they showcase the brooding power and romantic tenderness of Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1. The event also features a rendition of Schubert’s Symphony No.9 in C (Great), with the piece’s ‘Great’ nickname simultaneously highlighting its majestic power and setting its array of unfolding melodies apart from the composer’s earlier C major Symphony.
