Singer Songwriter Competition  Closing Date Thursday 31 May around midnight Compete in Holloway Arts Festival 2015’s Singer Songwriter competition. Entries limited to one or two musician line-ups from London.The final will be held on Thursday 4 June 2015 in front of a judging panel of industry professionals. Weather Or Not Exhibition 29 May - 4 July at Outpost, 546 Holloway Road, London N7 6JP In the spirit of the 60’s, Peter Bedford Housing Association’s Creative Industries is showing a solo exhibition of energetic action paintings by untrained local artist Roy Appleton.  He creates raw and physical artwork on canvas by throwing, pouring and splattering paint from a height, combined with the effects of changeable British weather to create unexpected results.

Sixties Vibe Exhibition Opening Wed 3 June 6.30-8.00 pm at Resource for London, 356 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA This collection of work will celebrate the different artistic forms of the Creativity Centre’s individual artists, inspired by their personal interpretation of the SIXTIES. Each artist will have a different perception of that era.

Reel Islington: A Dangerous Game Friday 5 June, doors open at 6pm, film starts at 6.30pm at The Rocket, London Metropolitan University, 166-220 Holloway Road, London N7 8DB 'A Dangerous Game' (2014) Dir. by Anthony Baxter. A funny and eye opening documentary exploring the environmental impact of luxury golf courses around the world. Holloway Hullabaloo Sunday 7 June 1.00 – 5.00pm at Hornsey Street, N7  Featuring live music, market and food stalls, a festival parade and art workshops with Cowling & Wilcox, Estorick Collection and a sewing workshop with TRAID: bring along an item of clothing from home that needs mending, and learn how to repair your clothes. There will also be poetry readings at our Poet's Corner.
