The World Vision Garden
Silver Gilt

The World Vision garden is inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Cambodia.
Translucent orange rods represent rice paddy fields, with the dark water cutting through illustrating the fear of hunger that vulnerable children in Cambodia live with. Often surviving on just two meagre bowls of rice a day, childhood is blighted by the devastation of poor nutrition.
But hope blooms in this garden – as you reflect you'll find glimpses of hope revealed. Mirrored boxes shine light into the darkness and irises and water violets appear showing that with the right conditions delicate flowers are able to thrive. Just as World Vision's agriculture projects can let hope bloom for children living in fear.
