The Deal

A three-course sitting at AA Rosette award-winning Gilgamesh will begin with a choice of starter such as crispy chicken wings (usually £8.50), pumpkin tempura (£9), salmon sashimi (£10), or steamed prawn dumplings with garlic chives (£6). Moving on to mains, guests may like to try the vegetarian Thai yellow curry (£14), the beef bulgogi with slow roasted short ribs and bulgogi sauce (£25); or the Malaysian seafood jungle curry with green chilli, lemongrass, Thai basil, green peppercorns and lime. The evening can come to a sweet end with a choice of dessert such as apple and pear crumble, passion fruit creme brulee, green tea cheesecake or a selection of ice creams and sorbet. The menu is subject to change with the seasons, but whenever they choose to attend, customers can enjoy their meal with a classic Champagne cocktail of brown sugar cube soaked in angostura bitters, stirred with a splash of Martel XO and topped with Champagne (£15).
