Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Westminster - Until Monday 2 July, Broad Sanctuary westbound at the junction of Parliament Square will be closed. This is due to footway works.
Wembley - Until 23:59 on Sunday 17 June, there will be increased traffic levels and pedestrian activity around Wembley Stadium. Roads likely to be affected are the A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. This is due to an event.
South west London - The following roads will be closed on Sunday 17 June. From 05:30 to 11:45: Alderbrook Road, Clapham Common West Side, Nightingale Lane, Nightingale Walk, Sumburgh Road and Thurleigh Road. There will also be road closures in the Carshalton and Banstead areas for safety reasons. Short traffic holds will take place along the route to allow participants through major road junctions. This is due to a cycling event.
Twickenham - From 14:00 to 23:59 on Tuesday 19 June, roads will be busier than usual. Roads likely to be affected are the A316 Chertsey Road and all roads leading to Twickenham Station and around the stadium. London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road will be closed for periods throughout the day to assist with crowd movements. This is due to an event.
