News: London Festival of Architecture 2017 - Open Call

Dulwich Picture Gallery and The London Festival of Architecture have announced a competition inviting talented, emerging architects to create a ‘Dulwich Pavilion’ - a temporary events structure in the Gallery’s historic grounds. The Pavilion will be the stage for a vibrant programme of public events, and will open in June 2017 to celebrate the Festival and the Gallery's 200th anniversary.

On show together for the first time in public are the earliest surviving works by Rembrandt, the most famous of all Dutch artists. Painted when he was around 18 years old, the four panels depict Sight, Touch, Hearing and Smell. The fifth – Sense of Taste – remains undiscovered.
