Weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 1-2 October. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

Trains will not run between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway while we carry out track and drainage replacement work at Ealing Common. |

|
|
|
There will be no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. This is to allow us to carry out track and drainage replacement work at Ealing Common. Piccadilly line trains will stop additionally at Turnham Green. |

Tonight, Thursday, there is no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:30, for Network Rail track work.
On Saturday, trains will not run between Romford and Upminster after 11:15, for Crossrail and Network Rail infrastructure work.

On Sunday, there will be no service between the following stations: |
| • | Willesden Junction and Camden Road via West Hampstead, for Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | Walthamstow Central and Chingford until 11:00, and Hackney Downs and Walthamstow Central, all day, for Network Rail track work |
| • | Romford and Upminster, for Crossrail and Network Rail infrastructure work |

There is no service between Gospel Oak and Barking until February 2017. This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018. For more information, pleaseclick here

On Saturday trains will not run between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield. On Sunday, the closure will be extended to Stratford. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work.

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination:
Regents Park - Until 7 October, there are temporary two-way traffic lights in place on Park Road, just north of the junction of Gloucester Place. This is for National Grid Gas works.
Tower Bridge - From Saturday until Friday 30 December, Tower Bridge will be closed to all traffic while the City of London Corporation carry out major essential maintenance works. Roads in and around the area will be busier than usual. A signed diversion route will be in place, via London Bridge northbound and via Southwark Bridge southbound. Bus routes RV1 and 78 will be diverted and route 42 will stop running near the south side of Tower Bridge. It will be open to pedestrians for all but three weekends. Central London - From 04:00 until midnight on Saturday, Regent Street will be closed. This is for an event. New Burlington Street will also be closed between midnight on Friday night until midnight on Saturday night.
Wembley - From 11:30 until 19:30 on Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including the A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to an event.
Westminster - From 11:00 until 14:00 on Monday, Millbank will be closed between Parliament Square and Horseferry Road. This is for an event. There will also be restrictions on Great College Street, Great Peter Street and Dean Stanley Street, and a rolling road closure on Whitehall
