Cook and the Kangaroo

See one of the first European paintings of an Australian animal ‘The Kongouro from New Holland’ by George Stubbs, alongside the Horniman’s taxidermy specimen of an Eastern Grey Kangaroo. This small display will explore Captain Cook’s first voyage to the Pacific.
