Celebrating our Grand Relaunch

Come join us on 25-28 March 2016 to celebrate the grand relaunch of our new location and increased exhibition spaces, with a whole host of entertaining and engaging family activities: Easter egg hunt in the garden, introductory talks, object handling, board games and a toys and games adverts screening programme. Full activity schedule.
Mother's Day Chocolate Box
This Mother’s Day, 6 March, say a big thank you to your mum by designing your own mum-tastic chocolate box. Enjoy a 10% discount in our cafĂ© and fill your box with some tempting and tasty Munchies. This activity is suitable for all ages and free with standard admission. More information.

Design an Egg-straordinary Egg


Inspired by the Marmite Easter egg, this activity, on 25-28 March, investigates the weird and wonderful ingredients to mix with chocolate. Get creative and invent your own chocolate egg, with a prize for the most egg-straordinary design. Aimed at families with children aged 10 and over. This ‘Sniff & Sample’ activity is free with standard admission. Discover more here.

Lunch Offer for Groups


We offer a pre-booked lunch option with a seasonal menu for groups. An area for a maximum of 20 people in one sitting can be reserved and larger groups can be accommodated in shifts. This offer is only available for groups over ten and must be booked and paid for at least 7 days in advance.

Educators Network


Find out about CPD opportunities at our Educators Network launch funded by the John Lyon's Charity. Join us on 11 April, 6-8pm, including an after-hours viewing and a free glass of wine.
