Design Museum - Easter Holidays: Family Cycle Revolution Festival (19 March - 10 April)

Join the Cycle Revolution this Easter

From the 19 March to 10 April the Design Museum will host the Cycle Revolution Easter Festival featuring a bicycle-powered mini-cinema, drop in bike maintenance sessions plus talks, tours and creative Easter activities for the family. Most activities are free or free with museum entry. Enjoy the ride! 

Pedal-Powered Cinema

Saturday 19 March | 12pm - 4pm
Free | All Ages

Jump on a bike and help power our mini-cinema provided by Electric Pedals. Watch the specially-commissioned Cycle Revolution films including Peckham BMX Bike Club, Sir Chris Hoy and Inside the Brompton Factory. Part of the Find Your London Festival.

Free Bike Maintenance

19 - 20 March | 9 - 10 April | 11am - 4pm
Free | All Ages

Cycle Confident will be at the museum hosting a free Dr Bike service and taster sessions for cycle training. Taking place just outside the museum's main entrance, it's free to attend so just drop in on the day.

Colouring Competition

Easter Weekend | All Day
Free | 5 - 11 Years

Visit the Design Museum Shop over the Easter weekend and take part in the colouring competition. There will be a gallery of the entries on display with prizes for the best three designs.

Free With Museum Entry | 5 - 11 Years

Take the self-guided Easter Egg Hunt through the Cycle Revolution exhibition with an Easter surprise at the end.

Design Cycle Tour

Take a riverside design cycle tour of unexpected architecture and design gems. Hosted by Artouride, you will hop on a Brompton bike at the Design Museum and be guided by an experienced cyclist around London.

3D Bike Printing

9 - 10 April | All Day | Free
Bamboo Bicycle Club has taken up the challenge to create and 3D print a rideable bicycle in a weekend at the Design Museum. Visit the museum to see how they are getting on.

Inspired by the Cycle Revolution exhibition, the Cycle Culture tour explores some of the city’s best loved independent cycle stores and caf├ęs, from Brooks and Rapha to Velorution and Look Mum No Hands.
